Robb Johnson

Robb's 'career' began in the late seventies, as a part of the much-loved "Ministry Of Humour". He has since played as a duo with Pip Collings, solo, and occasionally with a full electric band. His songs have been covered by the likes of Roy Bailey and Maggie Holland, and many of them have become the staple of floor singers around the country, mixing as they tend to do the contemporary and the timeless. He is a prolific writer, and is easily capable of putting out two full CDs worth of material or more in a year (and has done many times). His most recent work, like virtually everything he's ever done, has appeared on his own Irregular Records label, and they all contain English songwriting of the highest quality.
